Oh, I see, you transfer to Picassa, not to an album in the images app. I do have a Picassa account, I could experiment. One question, though, do they still reside on your iPad? I want to be able to see photos when I am not on line.
Thanks,
Julie

I transfer my photos to Picasa using the Web Albums app. The photos now reside on the app instead of on the camera roll. The app lets me create different folders on the fly and also move photos to other albums. It is completely separate and independent from the camera roll.Pete <---- never liked the way the iPad handles photo management.Just tried it, took a photo, put it in an album. Went to camera roll, deleted it, it said "this photo will also be deleted from an album". Sure enough, it is gone from both places. Pete, can you explain how you do this? Thanks.Julie
Sent from my iPadI just figured out that I can only copy photos to albums created on the iPad, not those copied using iTunes. That's good to know.As far as deleting from the camera roll I thought that was not possible, that the camera roll was where they resided and the ones in folders were really just tagged, not moved. Maybe they changed that? I will experiment. Thanks,Julie
Sent from my iPadOnce I transfer photos from the Camera Roll I just delete them from the Camera Roll. It keeps my Camera Roll small, tidy and sometimes empty. I don't use a computer to do that.PeteIs the only way to put images that are in the camera roll into a folder by going through iTunes on a computer? (Yes, I know they will still be in camera roll but I want to get organized so I can find images more easily). I know some people don't even have computers, so what would they do in this case?
Thanks,
Julie
