Gosh, they had a series of ads a few years ago comparing Mac to PC. Don't think you could diss any harder. I guess they couldn't call out a particular manufacturer since there are so many making PCs.

Although most of us in IT at work have iPads, we are all dying to get our hands on a Surface so we can do real work at um, work. They doing a small Surface pilot at work, but we hope they go into production soon. Having said that I prefer my iPad at home, but I'm not creating anything at home, just using content. I have some apps on my work iPad to work with Microsoft Office documents, but I would prefer the real deal.
I think the Surface and iPad are not directly comparable. I think the Surface leans more towards productivity and they will get pretty popular for business use. The iPad is more for consuming content and will remain popular in the consumer world. If you want to do both you are better off with a Surface, if you are only using content then the iPad is fine.

The ad has been on TV for awhile now and I really dislike it. When has Apple done an ad dissing the competition and either showed the completion or called the out by name?
