Thanks very much, David! Glad I'm not the only one. You may be right that only the iPhone 5S has that "cool" feature. In the meantime I think the burst feature is rather cool! I can also get that burst feature with the touch screen "shutter" by leaving my finger on it. I wonder if that would be useful for moving objects like "real" bursts are.

Yes -- Kim's wrong. :-)
I just tested it on both my iPad4 and my iPhone5, (both with iOS7
installed) and get the same results you get.
However, perhaps Kim is speaking only about the *new* iPhone -- perhaps
that works differently from the camera in older iDevices.
