It's a little annoying, but intuitive enough.  If the door doesn't open on push, then try pull.

You have to slide the right hand column up or down to get video or square. I had the same problem. Just happened to figure it out. I was just tapping on the word and of course that didn't work. Hope I understood the problem correctly.
