Re: [iPad] Steve Jobs and Xbox One?

Only if you have to have the Latest & Mostest (not necessarily the greatest,
either).

Even my old Touch 2nd gen, on iOS4, still does plenty -- just older versions
of apps.

I'm having to decide if I want to upgrade my iOS6-capable devices from 5 to
6 while I still can so for at least some of them I'm not too far behind the
curve on some apps -- I don't like the sound of the "design" changes rumored
for 7 (are there really graphic designers on the staff?).

As for David's magazine -- I don't understand -- the iPad 4 isn't "old" --
complain to the magazine that their product needs "work".

New versions of Apps do not run on old versions of iOS. Since old hardware
can not upgrade to new version of iOS, you end up in a rat race to upgrade.

Problem is new software that kills old systems. Got a magazine the other day
that runs s.l.o.w on iPad 4. Sigh.
