Think Different! set up an image database with an app like Bento or Filemaker, Store the pictures there and sync between desktop/mobile device. There are other possibilities like Leap, Yojimbo, DevonThink, etc. which will store/display pictures and let you 'tag' pictures so you can find and display them in different ways.
