Re: [iPad] OT: Roaming cats said threat to U.S. birds

My mom and dad's cat was terrified of the ceiling fan but it does not bother my two cats. However my two cats grew up with ceiling fans, my mom and dad moved to a house with a fan and the cat was not used to being in the house with a fan.

Years ago I moved to a new place that had a ceiling fan in the family room, my little cat Thomas, freaked out when the fan was on, he would slink away and hide. I always thought it was some sort of primordial instinct kicking in.

Not unheard of at all.....in Alaska there are many places
where the cats hide when the eagles come out.......there
are even reports of small dogs being "airlifted" by
eagles.........
