Need some more info.  What do you mean by "saved", and "disappear"?

Every time you go into the mail app its empty?

I have a new iPad and my saved emails disappear for no reason. My son thought it might be the server. Changed to G-mail -does the same thing. Any clue why this happens?  And where do they go?
