No "we" do not. I have a Chevy astrovan. The year is unimportant. Unless you are buying a headlight or windshield wipers. I don't even know what year my van is. It's that unimportant. Now the 224000 miles is an important factor. But the year? Not so much. And according to the marketing book apple thinks is simpler to not have model numbers. It's iPad. It's MacBook. It's iPhone. It's Mac mini. It's iPad mini.
Oh and according to the book the iPod was almost called MacMan or maybe it was the iMac. Correction I think it was the iMac. The first iThing. Yea. Crazy. Stupid name. IMO.
