Apple called the so-referenced iPad3 the " iPad Retina". Apples calls the newly updated model the " iPad Retina ". You apparently have the iPad Retina.

I bought a new iPad in the spring. Another one for my wife in May. Now there is a later version. So is mine still "the new iPad"? Is the just announced iPad the "new, new iPad".
