Re: [iPad] iOS Ringtone creation

I've been looking for the T-Mobile default ringtone.  Anyone have it that's willing to share or know where I can get it?

Found out how. Will these custom ringtones only be ringtones, or can they also be text tones? If not, is there a text tone file extension?

I create my own ringtones. They are simply an mp4 file renamed m4r. I have a few hundred I've created and shared. I like TV sound bites ;)

My wife now has my iPhone 4S, she was using my past Nokia E71, she loves the 4S

She has some ringtones on a website (not Apple) that she wishes to add, is there anyway to do this? I am assuming that Apple only allows default or Appstore purchased ringtones, but I am hoping there is a legitimate option to create/convert an audio clip to an iOS ringtone, and import it into iTunes or the device

Tks all
