Just did a Google on 'apple icloud glitch' and found many stories about this. But no actual word from Apple.
all the referenced stories from the search have conjectured that either Apple got very nice about this or that it is a glitch that will be corrected. Supposedly no reports are in of anyone actually being charged for any of this.
