| "I'm in New England and have lived through some long power outages so the thought of going all cellular is a little scary to me. Just my 2 cents worth." I live in Northern California and if I still had my land line (with Charter) and the power went out, my land line would be out too. At least this way I can charge my cell phone in the car. -------Original Message------- From: JoyceK Date: 05/27/12 04:39:48 Subject: [iPad] Re: Here's what I'd like to see in the next gen I phone! Hi, This thread seems to have gotten away from the above topic and onto discussing cable/satellite/whatever TV options. I'll ignore all that and say that what I personally would like is a junior version of the iPhone that would allow me to have the same number on my iPhone as I have on my Verizon land line and that would be as tiny as my current LG flip phone. Yep. I still have my land line. In my house I have a wireless setup using Uniden phones and a couple of old-fashioned phones that work when the power goes out. I'm in New England and have lived through some long power outages so the thought of going all cellular is a little scary to me. Just my 2 cents worth.
