We got this hard back case

Off eBay found a couple actual new Apple smartcovers in strange colors (lime green and a pink) for like $20 each and free shipping. Had to hunt around for them over several days. The apple smartcovers work on the 2 or 3. More traditional colors were higher. We liked the wild colors as the iPad doesn't get lost on a table under papers. may not be right in the corporate world.
The back case and smartcover work together.
Non Apple smartcovers may not work on the 3 unless it is new stock and they have moved the internal magnets.
