[iPad] Re: Which apps do you find yourself still using after all this time

A very interesting question. You sure can learn a lot about people viewing their list of apps.

I download apps, use them for some time, maybe keep them on, maybe delete them. It's fun.

These are apps I use most every day.

All-time winners, ex aequo: Safari and Mail. Of course, and so some people might say these don't count. OK then.

Close runner-ups Overdrive and Kindle.
If there's one change the iPad made to my life, it was the ability to access the Free library of Philadelphia away from my desk. I'm a voracious reader, no way my wallet is up to my reading needs. Libraries in my small-town, totally French area of the province don't offer nearly enough reading matter in English to satisfy me. (Why I read in English is a matter of genre, I like romance novels and, being a professional translator, hate to read translations.) Before the iPad, I had to be content with an average of one new book a week and re-reading and re-reading again older books. Now? As much reading matter as I care to get my hands on. I can even try new authors, different genres, no problem, just return the book. Wheeee!

Shopper
Todo and Task 2 Free. Todo mainly but Task 2 Free when doing a milk run, because of the clearer display of the sublists
Farenheit and Celsius
Antidote - a French dictionary that has search with jokers, for Scrabble and crosswords
Oxford University French-English English-French dictionary
PressReader - the only one that it seems I can use to read the newspaper I subscribe to
Scrabble, Enjoy Sudoku, Kings Corner
ForScore, for piano practice

Those are apps I use several times a week

Maps
FMTouch
Skype and Palringo, depending on the contact
Epicurious, Big Oven and the Betty Crocker bookbook
Rdio, YouTube, iTunes
AppAdvice, FreeAppMagic
Converter Touch (the one from Handy Pad)

Then there are apps that I'll use heavily in certain circumstances:
BlogPress, aNote when I'm travelling

I downloaded a bunch of music apps which I'm not making enough use of, due to the music equivalent of blank page syndrome:

SongwritersPad, TouchBand, LaDiDa, JamPad, BandInAHand, GarageBand

I confess I downloaded Nike Training and keep it on the iPad because, I swear, I'll start using it. Tomorrow. Next week. Soon.

An addendum: what do you keep in your Dock?
Mine
Settings, Mail, Safari, Camera, Todo, Overdrive

That was fun.
