At least I think I've started now.  Now I'll try to see if I can do some of rhe other things.

I looked up "sliding" aha it's what I was calling a split screen and every once in awhile I'd get it but never knew how it happened. Drove me nuts. I finally found out how to get back to normal but I always forgot. It  it had to click a link on the window you wanted to get rid of and then touch the double paper symbol at the bottom. See I still don't remember how to do it. Now that I know what it's called guess I'll learn how to use it so I never have to. :)
