This tip from iMore regarding tabs in iTunes 12:


You can edit all the tabs at any time so that iTunes only displays the ones that matter to you.
  1. Click on the More button (looks like •••).
  2. Click on Edit at the bottom.
  3. Check all media types you want to have appear in the tabs.
  4. Uncheck all media types you don't want to have appear in the tabs.
