Patience implies belief.  I don't believe in the current Apple.  I'll keep buying iPads and iPhones and iPods and Apple TVs, so long as they keep nourishing the ecosystem and don't drop the commitment to high-quality fit and finish and UI, but I no longer expect Apple to innovate.  That's dead.

I remember long ago - the eighties - when Steve W and Steve J were exciting people.  Then the Pepsi guy got rid of Steve J, and Apple floundered.  Steve J came back, and Apple flourished.  Steve J died, and Apple floundered again (except as a money machine, coasting on an image created by Steve J).

Apple's fortunes rose with the founders and fell without them.  That's life.  Nothing lasts forever.

yea the changed some stuff up and shook the earth in the 70s and 00s. that will happen again. for most companies t never happens. for some it happens once. only for apple does it happen over and over again. be patient, geez.

Time was when Apple was an innovator.  Sadly, the company's grown so rich that innovation, apparently, is now too risky.
