I have to do it on my desktop? I am PC not Mac, can't it be done from the iPad?

When you get that email from yourself, you most likely touched a star by your name, adding yourself to VIPs. If you touch that star again on your desktop, you can remove yourself from the VIP list.

If I start getting emails from someone I don't want to miss, I click the star by their name and then they are in my VIP list. I can also remove anyone when the business is finished.
