Where is the star by their name? I only see a star by my name and as you suggested, I probably did that accidentally.

For me, I use VIP for my insurance lady, a doctor, my ophthalmology clinic, a couple of geniuses at work and a science-fiction pal. When you get that email from yourself, you most likely touched a star by your name, adding yourself to VIPs. If you touch that star again on your desktop, you can remove yourself from the VIP list.If I start getting emails from someone I don't want to miss, I click the star by their name and then they are in my VIP list. I can also remove anyone when the business is finished. On Oct 2, 2012, at 9:05 AM, Judith <pooh4jvn@pacbell.net> wrote:Can someone explain what the use of VIP is in email and how to use it? Somehow I have VIP on my name so an alert comes up when I get email from myself.
