I think if you have the serial number off the back of the box and call the Apple Store they can probably help you. That might be able to do it through an e-mail, also.

Does anyone know how I can determine for sure that it is the AT&T version before I open the box. There is no Verizon coverage in this area & the closest Sam's is 45 miles away. I've called Sam's a number of times but their # is always busy.
