Thanks for the info. I did discover a couple of apps that seemed to be holding data, i deleted them. One thing i did find out about a photo manager program i have is that when i took the ipad photos and organized them into the photo mgr app, it was making a second copy of the picture. So if i had ten phitos in the ipad photo app, it was doubling them in the manager app. When i found that out i started deleting duplicates. In fact i dont really need all those photos on my ipad, they are just to look at. The files i want to keep are someplace other than the ipad.
I figured there had to be somethibg else other than the photos especially when there were fewer pics than before i started tobgetbthe "full" messages.
