If I had the money, I would buy an iPad2 64GB 3G -- I have the original
iPad 64GB wi-fi-only, my wife has the iPad2 64GB wi-fi-only. I can see
some things about the iPad2 that I wish I had, but nothing that would
make me go buy one right now unless I had spare money to burn.
I, too, live with my iPad by my side, and use it in my band classes at a
local Catholic elementary school, use it in my personal music
practicing, use it to capture ideas, to read the NYTimes, to read books
(I read almost no paper books now and use my Kindle only in situations
where I don't want my iPad exposed to environmental dangers, the beach,
for instance, or easy theft, again, at the beach.
But there's nothing great enough to make it financially worthwhile to
abandon a perfectly good iPad1 just to get an ipad2.
