Re: [iPad] Backup PDFs in iPad2?

Devitt,
One way is to simply go to this app in iTunes and select the PDFs and save them to your hard drive.

I didn't lose mine when I updated.  In fact, I didn't even lose a shopping list I had made in the "Paperless" app.  All I did was the backup first, and then update.  And part of the update was also a backup.  <winking.gif>  I also downloaded my PDF files directly to the iPad, by the way.  I didn't lose any of my books, either.

Good luck on your update!

Subject: [iPad] Backup PDFs in iPad2?

I am about to update to I OS 5.  Do I need to do something special to be sure I don't lose the PDF files I have in iBooks?  Is there some way I can back them up separately?  I downloaded them directly to the iPad.

Thanks for any advice.

Cathy
