Listing this app reminded me to recommend The Weather Bug app. During the two day of Irene here in eastern NC I was able to get real time radar on my iPhone (my iPad is wifi only and we had on Internet). It was extremely helpful as I could time my dash out to feed the horses . I actually drove down my drive and then dashed as trees were still coming down. My sister in Beaufort could check that the storm wasn't over but instead they were in the center of the eye.
