I have a white iPad 2. The screen looks just as good as my friend's black iPad 2. The black border on hers contrasts with the screen which may give the illusion of a brighter screen. I like the white. There seems to be less of a glare problem for me.
I have the Apple wireless bluetooth keyboard. Works great and you don't have to get used to a smaller keyboard. That said, it's less portable than a keyboard case would be.
