The article I sent in my earlier post is for self-publishing, sorry! Here's another for transferring content and it seems that it would be a fairly cumbersome process:

PatPat, more than half of my books are iBooks. I do have some on my Kindle app, and I have some B&N, and some Gutenberg. Can I read other formats on a Kindle?

If you only use the Mini for reading books, you might want to take a look at the Kindle which I find easier on my eyes and smaller to hold (I have a Kindle Oasis, but also enjoyed the Voyage and Paperwhite). You can then use the Kindle app to synchronize your reading between the Kindle, iPad and iPhone.

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.
