I have no idea, Tony.  No preference.  16:9 is good for a big-screen immersion experience, but does that apply to tiny screens?

The rectangle works well enough, but it was chosen because it's familiar to designers and engineers, and their tools are built around it, not because it conforms to the human body.  It doesn't.
