Wi-Fi and dropbox or certainly options I would imagine

With my old iPad 2 I was able to transfer photos from my cameras to my iPad via the camera connection kits. These used 30 pin connectors and I just removed the memory card from the camera and placed it in the appropriate slot(s) in the connector that was inserted in the iPad.
Now with my new iPad Pro 9.7, I'm trying to find similar items with the 8 pin connectors. I'm struggling to find any that will let me use a COMPACT FLASH memory card from my Olympus camera.
I like the camera connection kits for their ease of use. Are there other ways for me to transfer photos from my cameras directly to my iPad Pro?
Thanks.
