The iPad Pro has the capability of running much more powerful software. But it will take some changes to the app store before lots will show up I think. The lack of any way to offer ‘trial’ or time-limited apps on the store will probably keep some developers from bringing them to the store.
I think Apple has to change that policy with the app store. The way it is now, it is hard to have apps that have significant cost to garner a market. We are all too used to the cheapness of iOS apps.

Does Pro have to mean big? No. Even the iPad Pro doesn't seem pro. It doesn't run Pro apps. Maybe it never will. The mini, if it ran pro apps and the Apple Pencil, would be pro enough for me.

You just want stylus support? Is that what pro is to you? Because the more ram and processor will come but it won't make the mini the pro.~KLM\\ "Antisocial behavior is a trait of intelligence in a world full of conformists" ~Nikola Tesla //No, I still don't get it. Size would still be the same as the current iPad mini or maybe a bit thicker.

I mean you could give it around a 9 or 10” screen…….I’m sure you can see where I’m going with this….cjcApple thinks they know what you want. I think the iPad Pro is the bomb, just not for me. It's too big. If Apple put out an iPad mini version, I'd get it. The iPad mini is just the right size to carry and use. I edit photos on it that were taken on my Phone 6 plus.
