Thank you for the tip. I thought I had tried that once earlier but it didn't change. This time it worked. Right after changing the Calendar on iPad, it copied to the iPhone and Watch as well. Also, I was mistaken earlier - the backgrounds on my Watch's Calendar also changed to the fuscia. Oddly, that color is called "Red" but displays as a bright reddish purple/fuscia! The original orange is much better for constant use with aging eyes.
