Re: [iPad] Face time

I like Tango better because the picture seems cleaner, clearer and I don't have the pixelation I sometimes get or the audio dropout.  It could also be where I'm located too.  The person I Tango with has am Android S3 and says he gets much better video from Tango than Skype.  Really, the only way to know for sure is to try it out.  It's a free app last time I checked.  Even though it's an iPhone app, it works well on the iPad. I use it on both.

You can try Tango on your iPhone or iPad and see if its better. Works better for me than FaceTime. It's free in the App Store and there's also an Android version for all your 'droid friends.

Nah. 40 miles. Same Internet provider. It seems that my Apple TV can stream 1080p movies but I can't FaceTime in the same place. I've gotta be closer. Which is ok. My basement is a mess lol.

Really, stutters? The girl must be far from you. I video Tango chat with a friend in New Jersey. I'm in CA and we get a beautiful video.

I've been FaceTime chatting much with a gal I'm interested in. It is very bandwidth dependent. I mean it stutters. A lot if I'm downstairs. It's frustrating. So much so I'm gonna suggest we try Skype. Which totally bums me out.

Skype and Tango work with Android and Windows Users.

FaceTime is Apple device centric.

I have the iPad 1 so I'm not familiar with face time which I guess is
a form of Skype. Can you only talk to other iPad users with this
program?
