Re: [iPad] 'Your ipad ID has been disabled' message

It might. I would work to resolve the issue with the current account rather than creating a new one. Creating a new account means that you lose access to the old apps and media that you purchased from iTunes on the other account. They will still be on your computer and iPad of course, but not in your iTunes account.

But wouldn't doing that conflict with the old one? There's CC#s and paypal etc to deal with here. I'd think that might complicate things... I'm a little hesitant to do that just yet though.

Actually the message reads 'Your Apple ID has been disabled'
Then, when I try to update an app or buy an app, the loggin popup allows me to enter my Apple password and then I get that message.
I just tried a hard reset like Maria suggested and it still persists. I guess I can't do anything until Apple contacts me. Wonderful.
