I think those are great topics, Carl. I would say that some other topics might be:
3G vs. WiFi: What they are and the pros and cons of each
AT&T vs. Verizon: comparisons of their plans and policies (maybe include info on tethering to other devices)
Stylus options
Maybe a few really useful, widely adopted apps. (Evernote, Dropbox, etc.)
And, Jim's comment did make me think that it might be a good idea to include how to find more info: links to the support area at Apple, link to this group, etc.
It is hard to figure out exactly what would fit into one post - to keep it useful, but not too confusing or technical. Let us know how it goes!
