It's not done directly device to device.
(Maybe in the next iOS(es).)
You have to get them on your computer or a cloud service -- they have to be
synced *to* (with?) something.
Then you sync them from computer/cloud to your other device(s).
You don't even have to sync all the same stuff to every device, depending on
what your sync-source is & how it deals with groups or categories.
Even if you didn't even have a 2nd device you should have a backup
somewhere. If you already do, where is it? You should not have your only
copy on the device.
BTW, some of us were *busy* all day yesterday & just didn't get around to
answering or even seeing your question. Give people a chance, willya?
