I'm trying to sync eBooks from Kindle and iBook apps. I also have some in Stanza, but I know they don't support syncing from iPad/iPhone to computer. I have music, apps and photos on the iPad which I don't want to lose. When I check "sync books" I get a warning message that "all existing song, movies and tv shows on the ipad will be removed." I don't want to remove anything, just sync ebooks so they are backed up on the computer. Perhaps I should just forget using the "sync books" since iTunes backs up the entire iPad before syncing anyway.

I just want to back up my books on the computer, not replace the books on my iPad with (currently nonexistent) ebooks on my computer.
