I've been following the thread about car holders for the iPad with much interest. I, too, would like to use my iPad for navigation. However, I know that using a gps navigation app really drains a battery.
Has anyone tried using a car charger with the iPad while using a navigation app? I know this works for an iPhone 3GS, but the iPad takes so much more juice. If so, does the iPad need its own charger or will the iPhone charger work ok?
