[iPad] Any Australians here ???

 

A couple of questions.

We're going to visit my daughter who lives in Perth this summer. I'm planning on carrying my Ipad 2. Are WiFi hotspots pretty common there ??? I assume I will not be able to use 3G.

I may be giving my Ipad to her as a gift when we leave. Any problems transferring ownership of a US bought Ipad ??? Warranty ? Any advice would be appreciated
