Re: [iPad] Repetitive strain injury

I went to the doctor's yesterday to find out the results of my EMG. Light case of Carpal Tunnel. Last time they said I had tendonitis. Probably have some Tennis elbow too. I am sure it is due to me having a gadget in my right hand constantly for the last 20+ years. Sometimes I have to keep my arm straight to ease the pain. It is never severe pain, but always enough to let me know it is there. Sometimes it is not painful, but there is always a stiffness.

Thanks,

I hold the iPad in my left hand and operate it with my right. I never noticed it before, but as I'm moving my hand around the screen I tend to keep my wrist bent slightly backward putting a strain on the muscle connecting to my elbow. He suggested keeping my wrist straight or bent slightly forward and move my whole arm instead of just my wrist.
