If you owned the DVD, you could copy it using the free program
Handbrake. It has a setting for the iPad. Using iTunes you can then copy
to the iPad.
My experience, need a fairly powerful PC to do this. Seems to take as
long to transfer from DVD to PC as it takes to watch the movie. Once in
iTunes it is the normal ? time to backup and sync with iPad.
