by soft switch do you mean sleep? no, that will allow all paused apps to stay paused, still not using any RAM. only tyhe hard switch or shut down, will do it. which makes sense. when you sleep you dont want to kill all the paused apps, but when you reboot, you do. but seeoing as how the apps were merely paused anyway, meh
