Re: [iPad] Macbook Air

You can sync the iPad and iPhone to the MacBook Air.  I don't because everything is synced to the iMac.  I also got an external DVD drive when I got the MB Air primarily because they gave me so many discounts, I got it for free.  However, I've downloaded software via the web rather than by disc.

I don't know about the developer tools.

I agree with Lloyd's assessment.  I use mine at work.  Its so easy to carry back and forth - light and thin.  I love the keyboard, the screen is great and starts up and closes down as quickly as the iPad.

I used the migration assistant to transfer from my iMac but may take some programs off that I don't use.  The iMac is still the main computer.

Let's put it this way - as much as you can love an inanimate object I love the MacBook Air as much as I love the iMac, iPhone and iPad.  They all compliment each other well.  This is my first MacBook, and I couldn't be more pleased.
