It will last for days if you don't do anything with it, particularly if you put it into Airplane Mode.
Initial reports when it was new stated you would watch movies continuously for about 12 hours.
If you want to continuously stream video, don't count on even 10 hours.
What were you doing ith it, and was it fully charged to start with?
