If you have an iTunes account you have already given Apple your cc number. They have some of the best security around, probably better than a place like Rite Aid (for instance.) If I understand correctly, when using Apple Pay the store does not get your card number. Seems that would be more secure than spreading it around to every store one uses. The moreoutfits that have it, the more opportunity for hacking/theft.Since Apple makes its money selling stuff rather than personal information (unlike Google) purchase info going to them seems as benign as using a credit card can be. If you use the card direct, the bank has all your info as well as every store you use. If you want purchase anonymity, cash is about your only choice.CDCorrect
