Someone *else*?
For any bug that is found, there is always a first person to have found it.
Apparently the bug was only evident if the user had activated the Developer menu in Safari and had disabled caches there, AND then only in certain edge-use cases.
Since Consumer Reports is supposedly reviewing and testing products for the general public, there was no reason for them to have had the Developer menu activated, or caches turned off.
On the other hand, the bug is now found, fixed, and will be available in the next update.
