Re: [iPad] Microsoft is now 'more innovative' than Apple

To me, its getting diluted. Prices seem to be up, specs and functions down. Touchbar is a good idea though, I like that innovation, essentially making the functions keys into app function keys.

It's a balancing act. And I think they're up sussing too much on the lighter and thinner whereas a little more battery just a little wouldn't hurt thinning and lightning that is important but I think their focus is just a slightly bit too far to that side course this is just my Opinion

It is extremely important to man users who carry their laptops around daily to make them lighter. My last one was 5½ pounds; this one is 4½ pounds. Still heavy but noticeably easier to carry.

The new model is 4 pounds! (15" rMBPro in all 3 cases).
If I were in the market at present, that reduced carry-weight would be more important to me than the thinness — but that is PART of where it comes from.

I expect the logic board in these models is scarcely larger than that in the recent Macbook — we'll need to wait for iFixit to dissect one to know — but that would make it less than the dimensions of the laptop *keyboard*.
