So after some discussion on this list I decided to look at the Roku. We have had the AppleTV for quite some time and I wanted to be able to do AcornTV. It was buy a later version of ATV or get another device. In the several years we have had ATV, my husband has never been able to watch anything with it without my being home. Don't get me wrong, he is very intelligent (way smarter than I am), just not into electronics as well as being a non linear thinker. After reading some reviews I decided to buy the latest Roku instead. Within a couple of days he was able to watch both AcornTV and Netflix when I wasn't home. I asked him about it. He said "the old one has 3 buttons and they aren't labeled. The new one has a number of buttons and they are all labeled". So I guess I made the right choice. The image is good and it does everything we need it to do except project from the iPad, which I can use the ATV for, which is still sitting hooked up.
