In years past, people were talking about Apple's keynote right after it aired on forums, like this one. They were so excited to get their hands on the latest updates. This year everyone seems uninterested. Even when rumors were floating around, people didn't seem interested. Is tech becoming do much a part of every day life that people don't think about it anymore?

Well, I, for one, never pay much attention to rumors.
I just wait for the <whatever> to come out, and then look for hands-on reports of how – and how well – it works.
