Maybe!
We have capable devices that range from phones, tablets, laptops, big screen TV's. We are all happy, but there aren't many reasons for re buy the next years device.
I read that PC sales are down. So what? PC's are very capable, they don't need regular upgrades or replacements. Especially that we are now devoting funds to regular phone and tablets. Not everyone can buy this gear every year. Its not that PC sales are down, its that computer spending is up, its just across more devices now.
iPhone sales growth sliding, also so what. Similar reasons, that doesnt make a doom and gloom despite what media writers whine about.
Take me. I ALWAYS upgrade my iPhone. But I still have my 6 Plus, may or may not consider a 7. Im content. And Im not alone.
Ive only browsed thru the WWDC stuff. Some nice features, but not compelling. In any case, hardware is not important anymore, thats a done deal. Good to see Apple releasing iOS a bit more though.

Maybe much like computers in the late 90s into some company who shall remain nameless us LOL started reinventing them? And maybe as who we are as a group I have faith that will happen again? With a new device? Maybe the device has a name with the letter "i" in front of it?LOL

I feel its waning. Not Apple, but all this smart device tech. Its all great, its mature, but each new iteration offers less and less. Law of Diminishing Returns..
