I have a set of lenses that I purchased on the cheap. One is a wide angle lens that is also a macro lens. The other is a fish eye lens.
I mostly use the macro lens. It actually works very very well. I have a Canon 60mm EF-S Macro Lens and comparing the results (depending on what I am shooting) the iPhone clip on version really does work well for the money.
I just clip it over the camera (with my case on) and it works like a charm. Keep in mind that iPhone camera lenses work very well in low light so there are some advantages of using the clip on lenses over a traditional camera lens. Yes, the photos are smaller in pixel size and can be grainy when it is quite dark, but for what they are, they are well worth the money, especially if you can pick up a set for $25 like I did.
My lens was not one of the ones listed.
